Our Executive Director

Ellen Adorkor Nti (Mrs.) is an industrious entrepreneur who started out in her career as an environmental health assistant working with the Ministry of Health in Accra, before her transfer to the Volta region where she became the Principal Environmental officer for the Volta regional hospital. Still in the Volta region, she set up a vocational school whilst raising her young family.

After a few years, she moved back to the capital where she began another School-Brain Birds Academy- which has been running for the past fifteen years under her supervision as Proprietress and CEO. A few years down the line, she decided to start a sachet water company, as part of her desire to expand and create jobs for more people. Following that, the BBird water company has is now a fully established company in the Eastern region, supplying purified water to homes and businesses alike.

Due to the nature of her husband’s profession, she moved to the Ashanti region soon after. It is beyond reasonable doubt that she is in fact a prolific entrepreneur, evident in the fact that when she came by a run-down Piggery up for sale, she immediately took it upon herself to bring it back to life. True to her word, and the God-given capabilities she diligently manifests, Good Shepherd Farms was founded, and has been running for the past three years. Among a number of other small ventures, she remains dedicated to her childhood dream of becoming a “madam” through her numerous investments in the ideas of young, dynamic entrepreneurs. She has nurtured countless children from nearly every region in the country, and continues to inspire youth and adults alike.

She is the former regional coordinator for GNACOPS, the former regional coordinator, Institute of Directors-Ashanti Region. She holds a certificate in Management from GIMPA, and a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast. She is married with three children.
